I would like to welcome you all to the 15th edition of Scotland’s Good Hotel and Food Book 2010. Tourism has experienced a mixed year. The economic difficulties that have been felt around the world have undoubtedly had an impact here in Scotland, however, I believe that the majority of our businesses have worked extremely hard to minimise the impact of these challenging times. Our Year of Homecoming is well underway and I am sure it has already been very successful in bringing visitors back ‘home’ to Scotland. Many of these will have been fortunate to enjoy some of the finest accommodation and exquisite cuisine that we have on offer.
